Why Practice Innovation?
In addition to providing direct service, Kids Matter strives to identify and eliminate systemic barriers and raise standards for the care and treatment of children. We champion the development and implementation of sound public policy for children and families. In this section, we will be recognizing innovative practice in child welfare, highlighting some of the material we have written, and sharing evidence based research and useful guides to help caregivers, teenagers, child welfare professionals, teachers, and anyone else committed to serving children and families.
