Workplace Giving

Want to make a difference in a child’s life? Workplace giving helps give our children a chance to succeed. Whether you choose a one-time gift or a regular deduction from each payroll, we are grateful for the support of our kids.

Many local employers match volunteer hours with corporate contributions.  Others match employee donations with a corporate donation.  Many thanks to donors at Kohls, GE, Chase Bank, QuadGraphics, WE Energies and others who provide matching support or direct giving through work. Let us know if you want to add your workplace to our volunteer match efforts.

United Way

The United Way of Greater Milwaukee works to advance the common good by focusing on the building blocks for a good life: Education, Income and Health. United Way allows donors to write in approved charities so donors can direct their support. Kids Matter is an approved charity. Simply write “Kids Matter” onto your donor card along with the designated amount.

Federal Combined Campaign

Kids Matter is a Federal Combined Campaign approved charity. If you work for a federal agency, you can simply select Kids Matter on your donor form (#34453 KIDS MATTER) or search your local Campaign Locator at the Combined Federal Campaign website. Thank you — your support means a lot to our kids.

State Employee Combined Campaign

State Employee Combined Campaign (SECC) and Milwaukee County employees use “SECC #4678 KIDS MATTER.” Thank you for being a champion for children.

Community Shares

You can donate to Kids Matter through the Community Shares workplace giving program. It’s easy. You can sign up at work and have your donation taken directly out of your paycheck. Check with your employer to see if they support Community Shares. If not, Community Shares runs employee giving campaigns through the fall and winter and will work with employers to set up a Community Shares option. For more information about the Community Shares program, please visit their website. To donate, you can participate in your workplace giving campaign or visit the Community Shares website, click on the donate tab and select Kids Matter.
